Please Leave Quietly

leaves whirl past
the figure
as he lies
curled in
his own embrace

so close
they brush
with burning
brow
yet
their frenzied
dance
is
undisturbed

fervent eyes
raised
heavenward
blind
to grey
concrete framed
sky

no shiver
wracks his body
against winters
icy breath

whisper
of glass
shattering
on wet
pavement
is drowned
in natures
rowdy
partying

noone
hears the
breaking
of
hearts
